Whether you are showering, or leaving the kids splashing in the bath, water gets everywhere. Xpelair LV100 fans are 12V Safety Extra Low Voltage (SELV) units offering complete peace of mind. These fans are specifically designed to be installed directly in or over the splash area zone 1 in complete safety, with the SELV transformer sited out of reach of any person using the bath or shower.
The front fascia with its softly curved flowline grille design will blend into wall or ceiling décor, whilst the shallow depth of the outlet spigot ensures compact window installation. All models come complete with a universal mounting kit suitable for wall, ceiling and window mounting (in single glazing up to 6mm) applications.
The kit includes an air operated backdraught shutter and all models are supplied with a 12V SELV transformer.
Control options include integral pull cord and timer. Humidistat and PIR options offer automatic control.
The LV100 range conform to Building Regulations mechanical ventilation for toilets and bathrooms.
The Xpelair SELV system exceeds the IP requirements for zone 1 and zone 2 as defined by IEE wiring Regulations (16th Edition) BS 7671:2001. All models are IPX5 rated and BEAB approved, demonstrating accredited levels of safety. They are all suitable for 220-240V 50Hz mains operation, have lubricated for life motors, Class B insulation for operation in ambient temperatures up to 40ºC and are fitted with a thermal cut out.
